Dear Minoh JET-ALT members,

As the Japanese government is conducting a Census survey which started 
on October 1, 2020, you are supposed to respond to the survey as a 
resident in Japan.

The Census survey document in Japanese is to have posted at your mailbox 
by the end of September.  You can respond the survey in English online 
(by PC or smartphone) at https://www.e-kokusei.go.jp/online/html/top.html.
To respond online, you need to fill in your ‘log-in ID’ and ‘access 
key,’ which are sent in the survey document addressed to you.  So make 
sure to have your survey document handy for responding online.

If you don’t respond by October 8, you may have a door-to-door visit by 
a census taker.  If you need a help for filling in the Census survey, 
you may take advantage of MAFGA’s stationing support on Wednesday and on 
Friday by Oct. 8.
