Hi All,At Kitashiba community hall, there will be a Mochi-tsuki Party on Thursday Dec 28. 'Mochi-tsuki' is a rice cake making by pounding steamed rice with a pestle and a mortar and a traditional seasonal event before a new year in Japan.
You can experience the mochi-tsuki activity using the pestle. Last year, 2-3 JET members helped it. We appreciate your volunteer!
